Beyonce’s Organisation BeyGOOD Donating $6 Million For Mental Health Betterment Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

Since everybody is currently worried about the pandemic situation which they have to face because of the coronavirus outbreak, famous singer Beyonce has come to the rescue of those suffering mental health issues. The famous Beyonce announced that her charity organisation BEyGOOD is partnering with Twitter founder Jack Dorsey to donate $6 million for mental health betterment. On her website, a statement was released, which stated that the organisation realises the extra burden faced by health workers in psychological pressure as well as financial. They are trying to help those who are giving the essential services during this pandemic situation.

The statement further mentioned the African-American community living in major cities where the condition is worse, and they will need help during this time. The organisation will be able to provide these needy people food, medical services and personal good care facilities which are necessary for them. BeyGOOD has decided to partner with Jack Dorsey to help people, and they will be contributing more than $ 6 million. The statement further mentioned assisting local communities in Houston, New York, Detroit, and New Orleans. Beyonce earlier also honoured those people who have helped others during hard times on various occasions.

She said we all are like family and we need everyone’s voices, abilities and strength to fight this pandemic situation. Before this announcement, Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z also donated $6.2 million along with Rihanna to Jack Dorsey’s charity. Big celebrities coming forward to help needy people is quite encouraging especially for those people who are truly in need. Beyonce also mentioned how everyone should be patient and brave enough to fight the coronavirus pandemic because otherwise, we won’t be able to defeat it. Jack Dorsey, the founder of Twitter, has already pledged to donate more than one-third of his net worth.
