In Alabama, The Number Of Coronavirus Cases Cross 19000 Benchmark

Coronavirus has reached every state, and every district in the united states of America, and a recent report from Alabama shows things are getting quite worse here. The Alabama Public Health Department recently released the latest news on the number of coronavirus patients. It shows the total number of positive cases are now 19700 in Alabama. As of now Saturday, the number of positive patients so far has crossed 19000. Till date, 245000 people have been tested. The report shows, health officials did 72000 tests in the last 14 days, and out of them, 5500 came as positive.

The rate of recovery is also reasonable in the previous few days because so far, more than 11395 people have been recovered. In this report, Montgomery County has reported the most number of new cases nearly 2000 along with 11000 tests conducted. The rate of positive patients from Montgomery county is also seen to be high, and health officials are worried about it. In Montgomery/Prattville County, there are many new cases of coronavirus found. The report shows there are 169 cases of covid19 in Jackson hospital, 28 at Baptists East, 18 at Prattville Baptist, 74 Baptist South, and some in other parts of the county.

The number of tests are also increased as compared to last reports because health officials are trying to cover the most number of areas. The more amount of testing would also increase the number of patients, but it will help the state health department to implement the right strategy to fight against the coronavirus. The Alabama Health Department, along with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said because of some reason, they have delayed the survey. So it means the number of cases which this report reported might be higher in number.
